Three new assets at Bitvavo: Raydium (RAY), KAVA and AltLayer (ALT)

Last Updated on 31 January 2024 by CryptoTips.eu

Bitvavo announced that they will add three new assets to the platform this week: Raydium (RAY), Kava (KAVA) and AltLayer (ALT). The community will be notified via push notification when the asset is available for trading. Deposits and withdrawals will be made available later.

Update: RAY and KAVA have already been added to the platform.

Last week Bitvavo added four new assets (ORDI, MANTA, BONK and Jito) to the platform, growing its offering at a rapid pace. Bitvavo is growing strongly in Europe and has become the market leader in Europe in the euro markets (outperforming Kraken).

For those interested in these new assets, Bitvavo is now offering a special promotion: new users will receive 10 euros of free crypto when creating an account.

Raydium (RAY)

Raydium is an Automated Market Maker (AMM) and brings a unique approach to liquidity provision to the Solana network. It differs from other AMM’s by providing on-chain liquidity to a central limit order book. This means that deposited balances are converted into limit orders and then inserted into Serum’s order books, giving Raydium liquidity providers access to the order flow and Serum liquidity.

The RAY token is multifunctional: it is used for staking, IDO allocations and protocol governance.

Kava (KAVA)

Kava, a Proof-of-Stake blockchain launched in 2018, enables peer-to-peer lending. The platform, built not on Ethereum’s mainnet but on Cosmos, allows users to borrow and lend with various crypto currencies as collateral.

The KAVA token plays a crucial role in the network, giving holders a say in the future development of the platform and is used to reward individuals who contribute to the infrastructure.

AltLayer (ALT)

AltLayer is a recently launched Ethereum scalability solution. The project seeks to create a more efficient and cost-effective environment for Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-native ZK applications, with a focus on minimizing gas costs and facilitating the deployment of ZK applications.

AltLayer in particular, as a new project, has attracted much attention, but it is important to recognize the higher risks associated with such new assets.
